Selain kegiatan seni dan budaya,Kelurahan Gedong kiwo memiliki cagar budaya yaitu Ndalem Suryowijayan yang terletak kampong Suryowijayan Jalan Wakhid Hashim MJ/I no.340

“Retno Aji Mataram” pimpinan Bapak Sunaryadi. Sanggar seni ini telah lama berdiri. Bertempat di Ndalem Condronegaran. Kegiatan sanggar seni ini berupa pengembangan seni klasik yang berupa tari dan karawitan. Kegitan rutin adalah latihan pada hari Senin untuk anak-anak dengan materi tari dan karawitan, hari Selasa untuk ibu-ibu dan remaja berupa tari klasik, dan hari Rabu untuk latihan karawitan. Sanggar ini sering tampil untuk menyemarakkan acara-acara pada event tingkat kota dan tingkat propinsi.
