Indonesia, my beloved country, is located along the equatorial line. It makes Indonesia has a tropical climate. Most of the land in Indonesia is mountainous with some active volcanoes. The volcanoes can make the soil fertile, so it is very good for plant to grow. It produces, rice, tea, coffee, maize, cassava, copra, sugar, cloves, and pepper. Indonesia is an agricultural country. Most of populations are farmers.
The world of agriculture includes the cultivation of crops and the raising of animals. The crops are for food and animals or raw materials for industry. The large number of farmers still traditional ones. They still use traditional farming tools to cultivate crops. For example, they still use traditional plough pulled by cows or buffaloes. It caused these animals can work harder than men. There for cultivating farm using an animal plough is faster than using men power. However, people plough animals only in the morning.
The traditional farmers still dig the soil with hoes or spades. Farmers grow many kinds of vegetables such as cabbage, carrot, potato, bean, etc. Beside that they also plant corn and tobacco…
